Have you seen the large number of AI Headshot companies popping up? Have you wondered whether they are good value? Well, you send them about 20 'decent' shots of yourself and they send you back AI generated headshots. Sound good? Think again. A recent customer of mine received a choice of 50 shots, only two of which were anywhere near useable and the best of those two was clearly AI and didn't look anything like him. Another really successful headshot session for a lovely client, for her LinkedIn and Social media profiles.
These two were taken in my home studio space in soft, natural light and then retouched using Photoshop's new Generative Fill feature for a city-centre background.
Very pleased with the results, as is the client:
"Dave is very welcoming and made me feel at ease throughout the shoot. He quickly understood what I was looking for (even though I wasn't sure myself). Reasonably priced and amazing service!"

Major photography competition won by AI creation. Where do we go from here?

Boris Eldagsen said he used the image to test the competition and to create an "open discussion".
