I did get to see a few puffins at Bempton, mostly they were out of reach, but I did get this one.
Also a moorhen wandering along a path and a gannet coming in to land on a precarious cliff spot.

Tawny Owlet
I had the opportunity to go and see some more Tawny Owl chicks. I was getting watched by this one, while it's sibling played dead on the roof.
Hoping to get another chance to see them before they fledge, and with luck, spot the parents too!

Tawny in Hiding
I recently spotted a tawny owl in a broken tree and discovered a few days later there's actually a grey bundle of fluff in there.
Its not easy to access luckily perhaps, so I can only use my 100-400mm lens to get a shot.
I go past this spot every day on the quad bike, so the chick is used to that, but I'm hoping to get some more shots, although there's not much scope for varying the compostion.

I've had a break from the camera as my all my attention has been on my sheep over lambing time. There's only 2 left, so I'm hoping to get out and about with the camera soon.
These rabbits live in the field that my sheep have their lambs in, so I ride around them several times a day on the quad bike. This means they've got quite used to me and I could get within metres of them.

Afterglow
I thought I would search out a sunset on Saturday, but the hazy clouds got in the way somewhat. There was a lovely soft glow to work with and I'm glad I found it.
Taken on Coniston Water in the Lake District.
