📍 Broadway Tower in Worcestershire

I’ve wanted to get an FPV shot or two here for quite a while after capturing some vivid sunset aerial photography here in the past. Had no idea the sunset would turn out like this last night and it was not seeming likely on the first few flights.

You need permission to fly here if it’s from the land belonging to the tower, so I called them up in the daytime. The only stipulation was to keep away from the deer field, totally understandable.

I also got chatting to some people that were around and fine with me flying and grabbing some shots, as well as took a couple of family photos for some tourists who were also enjoying the view!

FPV Flythrough of a Dental Surgery 🦷

This was a tricky one, but fun as always! It was a very gusty day outside and the weather also changed between shooting the beginning and the end clips. It’s almost as if all of the cables in the air on that road hang out together at this building, the buggers are everywhere. I like a challenge! 😁

Thanks to the staff at Foley Park Dental and Implant Centre in Kidderminster for booking and trusting me, as well as being great during filming. Extra thanks to the patients who agreed to be in shot. Good to know it will be on loop in the reception area, amongst other uses. Also, thanks to One Minute Wonders Video Productions and Drone Services for passing this one over to me. A pleasure as always mate! 🤝

It’d been about 3 years since passing through this place I call Half-Arsed Castle 🏰

The golden hour situation was looking sketchy before heading there, mostly leaning towards “it’s probably going to be crap, but screw it, let’s go anyway”.

Next thing you know, a gap opens up a short while before this.. time for a warm up flight and grab some footage in case this is all we have. After a short break of more cloud coverage, they broke once again to reveal this. It wouldn’t have been a wasted journey anyway, so long as flying was fun, but the sky made it better.

Whilst on the way home, the sun appeared from behind a big cloud and stuck around long enough to give us a sweet golden hour 🌞

One FPV battery left, so I couldn’t resist a quick stop. What a sky to reveal 🌅
