[5th September 2020] I've gone out to photograph many a sunrise, but seldom do I manage to see a moonrise in conditions as beautiful as this! Its definitely a 'you had to be there' moment, but I hope this photo does it justice! Shot on a with a .8 and mini tripod.

[5th September 2020] Early mornings with their low sun and cool air are my favourite pairing with landscapes like this. Some people like their gear to be flawless, but I love how the character in this old Nikon 20mm really adds a dimension to the sunlight peering over the hills! What do you think?

[4th September 2020] More often than not its the unexpected adventures that put you in the right place at the right time. This one was from the North Yorkshire Moors on a particularly chilly night last month while out camping with friends! This is where the 20mm really comes into its own!

[26th June 2020] After a rollercoaster start to 2020, I'm back in the north east and eager to focus on some more personal projects. I've always enjoyed a walk through the rolling dunes of Redcar towards the south side of the Tees estuary, and in this photograph, Redcar blast furnace and its surrounding structures stand as an iconic reminder of our local history.

[21st April 2019] Home sweet home... Redcar beach on a relatively dull day back in spring of this year, I love the contrasting textures that constantly change between tidal cycles. This is another image I shot while out making some sound recordings of waves breaking for a separate project (which I'll post about on here when it finally comes together!). I honestly love the Nikon 50mm 1.8 AF-D.... lightweight, inexpensive, and can produce excellent results on any camera.

[11th August 2014] As I recall this was one of the first serious photographs I took with my full frame DSLR... a few years ago now! While passing through Plockton (western Scotland) in the car, a storm started to roll in and I managed to jump out and capture this atmospheric scene just before the rain arrived. I think I tweaked the sky a little in post, but all in all I was very happy with the result! If you've ever travelled around the west coast, you'll know how beautiful the landscapes can be. If not, I'd highly recommend a visit.

[4th December 2016] This image is from one of 's Symphony Orchestra concerts way back when I started working with them in 2016. I'd highly recommend going along so keep an eye out for upcoming dates, they are such a talented group of people. Its been an absolute privilege to photograph the majority of their concerts ever since!

[6th September 2018] I took this from the passenger seat of the car while venturing across the Isle of Skye towards Kylerhea on the eastern side of the island during a trip to Scotland last summer. We were hoping for better weather, but the heavens opened, and the windscreen wipers couldn't even keep up with the downpour! I love ominous atmospheres like this, low clouds rolling in, and how the road appeared to lead off into the middle of nowhere (thankfully it did lead somewhere!)
