✨” But my house is a mess...”
“Pranali, I haven’t finished decorating yet...
I hear this almost every month.
Here’s the thing: I don’t photograph your home. I photograph your family IN it.
What I actually need:
→ Beautiful window light (I’ll find it, I promise)
→ Your family being themselves → That’s it
I know simple declutter strategies if you’re worried. I also know how to shoot around chaos. But honestly? The mess tells the story.
Mess means you LIVE there. It means your kids are playing, creating, being children. It means you’re prioritizing their happiness over magazine-perfect surfaces.
And that’s exactly what I want to capture.
✨ “But my kids won’t sit still...”
Perfect. I don’t want them to.
If children aren’t being children, I don’t know how to photograph them authentically.
Still = posed = stiff = forced smiles = not who they actually are.
I WANT the jumping on the sofa, the tickle fights, the “Mum, WATCH THIS!” moments.
That’s childhood. That’s what you’ll miss the most.
Movement helps everyone relax. It helps me capture honest portraits of who your family truly is.
✨“But I don’t photograph well”
Truth? We’re all critical of ourselves.
Your children and partner look at you hundreds of times a day. They’re perfectly fine with how you look. More than fine—they think you’re beautiful.
We look at ourselves a few times a day in the mirror and it comes as a shock. The disconnect between how we see ourselves and how we’re SEEN.
You’re not alone. I’m exactly the same.
But here’s what matters: These photos aren’t just for you. They’re for your children too.
They’re the story of your family at this moment in time. The version of you they’ll want to remember. The parent who showed up, who loved them, who was there.
It’s not a glamour shoot (though you’ll look absolutely stunning, I promise :) )
It’s a time capsule of what love looked like in your home.
Here’s my approach:
I create space for authentic moments, then capture them with intention.
The result? Photos that make you FEEL it again:
The sound of their giggle.
The weight of their hand in yours.
The warmth of this fleeting moment. ❤️
Save this as a reminder ! 😊
