We had roosterkoek at Afsaal picnic site. Great place to stop, hot and cold drinks for sale as well as hot food. Lots of place to have your own picnic too. Bathrooms were clean.

Newbie birder ticking off the list….The Greater Blue Eared Starling. A medium-sized iridescent blue-green glossy starling with a dark ear-patch and contrasting royal blue to violet flanks and belly.
