Unfortunately, the weather hasn’t played ball with us this summer and, with horse and rider safety our priority, we want the ground at Kingsclere to be as good as it possibly can be.

We’ve therefore made the decision to 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗫𝗖 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟯𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿.

This change also means our 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗯𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 - which actually gives everyone the perfect opportunity to come and have a practice over the country beforehand!

On 18th October, you can 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿, giving you and your horse the perfect chance to build a bit of confidence before Opening Meet the following week - and perhaps work out exactly which of those Kingsclere hedges you’ll be aiming for when the big day arrives… 👀🌿

We hope the extra few weeks will give us the conditions Kingsclere deserves.

Feeling bloody fantastic after an amazing ride today with plenty of PRs! On top of that, I finally have the chance to meet the team who literally wouldn’t let me die!

Dave Wright, I really don’t know how to say thank you without bursting into tears. I’ll let the broken ribs and cut-up kit slide this time!

I can’t wait to catch up in person and meet you all, next month at Windsor Park.

To say it’s going to be emotional is an understatement. ❤️
