CALENDAR UPDATE!!!
For everyone who has been eagerly anticipating the release of this year's calendar I finally have some good news. They should be with me tomorrow or Wednesday all being well so I hope to have them in the shop later this week! Thanks so much for your patience this year, I'm not sure what's caused the delay with the printing but it will be great to have them on sale at last. I'll post some photos of the real things once I have them but for now here's a sneak preview! As always feel free to like and share.
This weeks opening times will be Thurs - Sat 11 am-3 pm plus Ramsey Farmers Market on Saturday from 10 am.

November is the time for great colours in Ballaglass glen. I really must get down there again soon before the leaves all get blown away! This is one from last November and features as the November image in the calendar. I like to try as much as possible to make sure the image for each month was one taken within that month or a few days either side of it.

A sunny spring picture from the new calendar for you today. I thought after the weather we've been having lately we could all do with a warm sunny photo. This one was taken earlier this year on a beautiful warm Good Friday afternoon. The way time seems to fly by it won't be long till the longer days and warmer weather are with us again, that's what I'm telling myself anyway! Until then I'll look forward to photographing the delights autumn and winter have to offer.

Another image from the 2024 Calendar for you today. Autumn colours always make the Island look beautiful. But it's not just in the glens where the golden colours really shine it can be on the coast too like here at Niarbyl where the golden evening light really makes them glow. Ideally I'd like a bit more light on the coast further south, but that's just being fussy! In a way the light being more focused on the foreground spotlights the little cottage and draws your eye straight to it.

A cold winter's day at Port Erin. I love the golden winter light on the waves and sand in this one. The clouds were moving fast so the sun kept coming and going very quickly and it took a while to wait for the perfect shot when the light was both on the headland and the beach. It was pretty freezing when the sun wasn't out too, but worth it though.

Currently they aren't available online as I've not got the eCommerce side of my new website up and running yet so if you would like to order by post just drop me a message. If you're an expert on ecommerce systems for websites and can recommend a good one to go with wordpress sites then please do also drop me a message because I really don't know where to begin!

For anyone who loves the beauty of the Isle of Man this would be a great addition to your Manx National Week celebrations! My brother Tim's orchestral suite inspired by the Manx countryside accompanied by my film and photos of the places that inspired it. Plus I will be providing traditional Manx Bonnag & Bunloaf along with other yummy baked goodies! Come and enjoy a truly Manx experience and a treat for all the senses 🙂

As part of Manx National Week, we decided it would be a good idea to arrange another showing of the Gem of God's Earth concert film, which I made for the release in 2020. Although it was originally intended to be viewed online, the film provides a much more epic experience when viewed on a large screen, which we will have here!
We will also be serving locally-made refreshments by Price - Local Food & Gift Shop, included in the entry price, so I'm expecting it to be a wonderful evening. :)
