And this is what happened next… 😂💦

After a little gentle persuasion (bribery), Katie’s bridesmaids decided there was really only one appropriate way to finish our photos by the pool at Watermouth Cove.

Straight in. Dresses and all.

The first photo absolutely kills me, that split second where some are completely committed, some are already questioning their life choices, and Katie is sitting safely on the edge watching the chaos unfold. 🤣

And then… carnage.

Seven soaking-wet bridesmaids, a swimming pool full of coral dresses, and absolutely zero regrets.

These girls had brought the energy all day, but this might just have been their finest moment. ❤️

Katie, her bridesmaids, and one final bit of chaos before the night really got going… 😂

At about 8:30pm at Katie & Owen’s beautiful seaside wedding at Watermouth Cove, we headed down to the swimming pool for a few photos with the girls. They’d been absolutely epic fun all day, so I knew there was potential for something a little less sensible.

And they completely delivered.

This was shortly before every single one of them jumped into the pool. Dresses and all. 🤣

I may have offered a little encouragement. I may even have resorted to bribery. But honestly… it really wasn’t that difficult!

Sometimes the best wedding photographs happen when everyone stops worrying about the dress, the hair and the makeup and just goes for it. ❤️

As the sun set over northern Italy, the celebrations flowed effortlessly from heartfelt speeches to dancing under the stars. Relaxed, joyful and filled with genuine moments from beginning to end. Congratulations Shannon & Oliver! 🫶💘

This is destination wedding perfection. 🇮🇹❤️ Some weddings feel less like an event and more like the most incredible holiday you’ll never forget.

Shannon & Oliver’s celebration at Abbazia di Santo Spirito in the lakes of Northern Italy, was exactly that. A beautiful historic abbey transformed into the most colourful Italian garden party, where incredible food, live music and the people they love most came together for one truly unforgettable day.

Their outdoor ceremony was made even more personal with Shannon’s brother as celebrant, including a symbolic handfasting that perfectly reflected the joining of two families. Guests then spent the afternoon enjoying aperitivo accompanied by Sandro Finetto and his band, and one of my favourite seating plans ever - finding their place at dinner by searching for their own photograph. ###

There’s something magical about a summer wedding at the Roman Baths. As the sun begins to drop behind Bath’s honey-coloured Georgian buildings, the whole city seems to glow. The warm evening light brings the Bath stone to life, creating the most incredible backdrop for portraits that simply isn’t there at any other time of year.

Jemma & Chris were married in a beautiful summer evening ceremony at the Roman Baths, surrounded by the people who matter most. One of the real joys of summer weddings here is that there’s still plenty of daylight after the celebrations begin, giving us time to wander through the ancient baths and around the Great Bath itself, creating photographs that feel both timeless and effortlessly relaxed.

The atmosphere is completely different to winter. The light is softer, warmer and far more forgiving, making it possible to create beautiful, natural images without the technical juggling that darker evenings demand. Sometimes Mother Nature really does all the hard work for you.

Bath on a summer evening is simply unbeatable! 🫶🧡💛
