Please make sure you read and understand the Terms and Conditions. It is your responsibility to make sure you have read and understand all the terms and
conditions. Under law, it is the photographer that will retain the copyright, if the photographer has been paid for his/her work, the payment will be for the photographer’s time and typically an allocated number of prints. The copyright to the photos will remain with the photographer, and therefore any reproduction without permission would be an infringement of copyright
• All images and ideas are protected by the United Kingdom Design and Patent Act 1988 and International Copyright Laws.
• Customers may only reproduce images given to them on Disc in the form of prints/canvas. Images can also be posted on Facebook and other social networking sites, but only those images that have a watermark. Any images found to be posted on social networking sites that do not bear the Rebecca Finch Photography watermark must be removed immediately.
• With the introduction of My Space and Facebook, photographs can be posted but please be courteous and inform whoever may be looking at the photographs that they have been taken by Rebecca Finch Photography. A copy of all images will be provided with a watermark, so that images can be posted on social networking sites.
• Under no circumstances are photographs to be used on any other website apart from Rebecca Finch Photographys page or to be sold on without written permission from Rebecca Finch.
• Travel is not included in any of the packages and will be charged at 50p per mile
Portrait/Location Photoshoots Terms and Conditions (in addition to the Terms and Conditions above)
•It is the responsibility of the customer to confirm photoshoot booking 1 week before the agreed date, especially if details of location/address/time haven’t yet been decided on. If no contact has been made your booking will NOT be guaranteed. It is up to the Customer to provide address details; I will not do any chasing.
-Any prices given will only be an estimate. I charge by the hour, and times will be rounded up. For example, on a location shoot, you will be charged from when I set off to when I return home, if the time taken for travel time and the photoshoot is 2 ½ hours, you will be billed for 3 hours. If I have provided a one off price, then the above doesn’t apply.
•If Children are misbehaving, another photoshoot can be arranged but you will be billed for ALL my time.
•I do not charge a cancellation fee, so please be courteous and inform me a week before the shoot if you need to cancel or make other arrangements.
•I have the right to cancel the photo shoot at any time. T&C CDs/DVDs/Images
- All decent images will be edited, in a mixture of Colour and Black and White. In the first instance they will be uploaded onto an online album. In this online album, there will be a High Res version of the images, as well as a Low Res version with a Watermark. Any images that you wish to put on Facebook or any other social networking sites must bear the watermark. The high res versions, will be suitable for printing. The images in the Online album can be downloaded onto your computer, and you will also be able to share the album with your friends, but the same rules will apply regarding uploading images to Facebook.
- edited images will be available to view within 3 - 10 weeks from the date of your photoshoot, this is only an estimate as it will always depend on my work load. As all images with be edited in chronological order, so if I have already had 5 photoshoots in the weeks leading up to your photoshoot, yours will be the 6th in line to be edited, but if I dont have any other photoshoots to edit other than yours, the turn around time for editing will be pretty quick.
- I can always put images onto DVD, but it is generally much easier and quicker for them to be uploaded onto an online album.
- Online albums will be available to view/ download for 4 weeks, they will then be taken down. But images will be available on DVD for £10 each.
- there aren't any extra costs or restrictions on how many people you share the album with or how many times you download the images, and make DVDs yourself to send to friends and family, so it would be appreciated if the watermarked versions were used if any images are uploaded to Facebook and any other social media sites.
- there are no extra costs for the editing of the photographs, this is all included in the price.
-if you wish to put the images into your local newspaper, please go ahead. you dont have to use the watermarked versions, just please make sure that Rebecca Finch Photography is credited for the images, and it would be appreciated if you could send me a copy, as I like to keep any publications my photos are used in. Other information you need to be aware of
•Photographs will be used to showcase work on website, in advertising, such as leaflets and business cards, competitions and magazines.
•I will require the following contact information- Address, landline phone number, mobile number and email address.
- if you are wanting a large family portrait, please make a list of all the different group shots you would like, so there isn't an fear of missing anybody on the day.
•I am based in Preston and the local surrounding areas within a radius of approx. 20 miles.
•Rebecca Finch Photography does not take any responsibility for any problems encountered with the Postal Service
