Strand Corner Studio 2024 - 2026.
One of my favourite things about being freelance is having the ability to stay flexible, pivot when necessary and generally just being able to go with the flow.
Over the last few months my business has slowly morphed into something slightly different than it was. I’ve found myself working on location more and using the studio less. This coupled with newly introduced charges from the landlords made me sit and think of a new plan going forward and that plan is to remove the overheads of the studio and focus on continuing to work on location again.
I’ll still be shooting portraits and headshots, I’ll still be working with as many bands and musicians as I can and I’ll still be covering some great events, but you won’t be finding me in my own studio for a while.
I’ve loved having my nice big studio, I’m proud of everything I’ve produced in there and allowing other people to have a space to create in but now is the right time to be moving on.
The studio will be closed with immediate effect (today, Saturday August 1st) so I can use my full 30 days notice to actually get all of my stuff out!
For any other photographers or studio owners there will be bits and pieces available (equipment/furniture/props) that I’m not keeping so if you’re in need of anything drop me a message and I’ll get the details to you when I can.
For everyone else who has stepped foot in the studio over the last two years, thank you for your support but now it’s time for something else.
