The men who swore they didn't want a dog.

The same men who now share their pillow.

Talk to the dog in a ridiculous voice.

Buy more treats than the dog actually needs.

And somehow have 472 photos of them on their phone.

The bond between a dog and their human is something really special.

It's the early morning walks.

The muddy adventures.

The quiet companionship.

The unconditional love.

And if we're being honest, most dog dads are completely wrapped around their furry friend's paw.

This Father's Day, here's to the dog dads who spoil them rotten, sneak them extra treats and pretend they're not obsessed when we all know they absolutely are.

Hi, I'm Katie.

I'm married to my childhood sweetheart, who I live with just outside of Portsmouth where we both grew up. I love adventure, the beach, forest walks and travelling...

But more importantly, I've always been a dog person.

Growing up, my best friend was a Border Collie called Pie.

He was incredibly clever, full of energy and had this adorable habit of putting his paw and head on my shoulder as if he was giving me a hug.

Like so many dog owners, I thought I'd have forever with him.

I didn't.

And one of my biggest regrets is not having more photographs of us together, of the hugs he used to give me, of him being him running around in a field and getting his own ice out of our american style fridge (yes he actually did that).

That's why what I do means so much to me.

I know your dog isn't "just a dog".

They're your shadow.
Your adventure buddy.
Your comfort on difficult days.
Your family.

My sessions aren't about perfect poses.

They're about capturing the goofy smiles, muddy paws, zoomies, head tilts, grey faces, floppy ears and all those little quirks that make your dog yours.

I'll happily roll around on the floor, run through fields, get covered in slobber or end up completely muddy if it means capturing photographs that tell your dog's story.

Because one day, these images won't just be photographs.

They'll be memories of your best friend. 🤍

I have had THE BEST TIME photographing doggos in Spain!!!
I met the most gorgeous cockapoo called Dorothy and she was the sweetest & cuddliest little one, that reminded me so much of my childhood dog who I miss SO MUCH.

His need and want to hug me (with one paw on my right shoulder & his nose tucked under my chin) was my favourite thing in the world and made me feel on top of the world and like he understood me. I would do anything for him and I only wish we had more photographic memories of him so I could remember him forever.

Here’s to our unconditional love for dogs (and vice versa)
