I had such a lovely time on my walk around Black Lake! Not only did I get to enjoy the beautiful nature and gorgeous photo opportunities, but I also met the most wonderful people. I got to chat to a really nice group of guys from Israel.

Wildes Bergparadies im Durmitor-Nationalpark!

Dieses Foto zeigt genau das, was ⁠Montenegro für mich so magisch macht. Die mächtige Bergkette im Hintergrund ist Teil einer spektakulären Eiszeitlandschaft, über die der ⁠Bobotov K*k thront.

Mit stolzen ⁠2.523 Metern ist er der höchste Gipfel des gesamten Massivs und ein absolutes Highlight für jeden Bergsteiger. Der Nationalpark selbst gehört zum ⁠UNESCO-Weltnaturerbe und schützt eine unberührte Natur aus urzeitlichen Nadelwäldern und 18 tiefblauen Gletscherseen. Nur eine kurze Fahrt entfernt liegt ein weiteres Naturwunder der Extraklasse: die ⁠Tara-Schlucht.

Mit einer Tiefe von bis zu ⁠1.333 Metern ist sie die tiefste Schlucht Europas und die zweittiefste der ganzen Welt!

Ein wilder, rauer Ort, den man am liebsten gar nicht mehr verlassen möchte.

This guy, Saga natoliae, was holding court on the rocky shore of Lake Skadar today and had absolutely no interest in moving.
Spent about some minutes flat on the ground getting this shot. He just kept staring. Respect.

Lake Skadar is the largest lake in the Balkans and a national park — didn't expect the wildlife encounters to start this close to the waterline.

Walking between worlds

There's something about this place that just makes you forget everything around you. Stepped onto these lily pad walkways and honestly couldn't look up - the whole scene felt unreal. Petals floating on the water, the reflection, the stillness… one of those moments you just have to stop and breathe in.

Spring in the Netherlands hits different.
