It felt like time for a little reintroduction here 👋
I’ve had a camera in hand for nearly two decades now and somewhere along the way I realised I was far more interested in the feeling behind a photograph than perfection itself — the atmosphere, connection and the in-between moments that often end up becoming the most meaningful.
Over the years, I’ve photographed everything from newborns, families and teens through to thoughtful brands, interiors, small businesses and everyday stories here on the South Coast.
What ties it all together is a focus on real connection. The kind that isn’t posed or performed but quietly unfolds when people feel at ease.
This is usually where I do my best work — when people stop overthinking and start to settle into the moment. Nothing too posed or forced, just gentle direction and space for things to unfold naturally.
I’m probably at my happiest near the sea, coffee in hand, chasing good light and noticing the details most people walk past. Open skies, calm spaces, natural connection and imagery that feels honest rather than overly polished will always have my heart.
And, when I’m not behind the camera, I’m balancing life with Pilates, coffee and cake, pottering around the garden, getting overly excited about interiors or catching a bit of sea air.
If you’ve been here for a while, thank you for quietly sticking around while life carried on a little more behind the scenes lately — especially through my slightly inconsistent posting era 😅
And if you’re new here, welcome and say hi below before you go 👇
