Paddle Out, Brighton - last week I went along to document one of the SAS paddle outs that were happening across the country in protest against the water companies and government that are dumping raw sewage into our rivers and ocean. Not just once, but nearly 400,000 times and for a total of 2.4 million hours across England, Scotland and Wales. If you ever go in the ocean or rivers, this is something you should really care about as there’s a high chance you’re swimming/surfing in literal s**t. But even if you’re not regularly in the water, this is something everyone should be aware of. Go read up on it if you haven’t already, not least to keep an eye on clean/safe water zones before you go in.
