Two photographs. One idea. A completely different image. ✨

Sometimes you don’t need a perfect scene in front of your camera. A little imagination, some experimenting and the right editing tools can turn two completely different photographs into something new.

I took the first two photos separately and then combined them in Snapseed to create the third image — a kind of double exposure.

Photography is not always about capturing what is there. Sometimes it’s about imagining what could be. 🤎📷

A flower can look completely different when you stop, get closer and really look at it. Textures, tiny details, shapes and colours that are easy to miss with the naked eye.

Sometimes a simple walk turns into a little photo adventure. 📸🌿

I spotted these beautiful poppy heads near home while walking the dog… so of course, I had to go back for my camera. 🤎

Nature really does know how to make us stop and look.

Lately, I’ve been learning to look at ordinary things a little differently.
An old bus, a dusty mirror, a worn-out chair, forgotten details and traces of time. Things we might normally walk past without a second thought.
But photography makes me stop.
It makes me look closer — at textures, light, imperfections and little stories hidden in everyday places.
I’m still learning, still experimenting, and still discovering what I want to say through my photographs.
Maybe that’s what I love most about photography — finding beauty where I didn’t expect to find it. 🤎
