I still can’t quite believe I get to photo so many of my music idols.

I was 18 around the time released Stanley Road, which is 30 years old this week.

I became obsessed, I immediately picked up copies of Wild Wood and his self titled first solo album, plus Japanese import albums, singles, books, I then went on to pick up all of The Jam and Style Council albums.

I think that album, along with Oasis releasing both their first albums, is where I really got into music. I searched out everything that influenced him, Small Faces, The Kinks, The Beatles, Soul and Motown, it all started with Weller. And now I’ve had the chance to photograph him quite a few times 🫶🏻

This is a shot from the first ever time I photographed a Weller gig, back in 2021.

I was looking back through my Noel Gallagher set from last year, what an experience to photograph The Chief. Can’t wait to see him with his brother this summer, it’s gonna be the biggest thing we’ve seen for a long time!

Haven’t shot many gigs of late, been super busy, and I do miss it! Hopefully get a couple in soon 📷
