Had a special visitor into PO this week, unfortunately couldn’t get down to see it airborne but got a few shots of this special liveried German Naval Sea Lynx. Delivered in 1983, a year after I was born and still looking fantastic!

If anyone is thinking of buying the GoPro Mission 1 Pro, please reconsider.

I invested in the GoPro eco system after my Hero 9 for a decent, portable action camera I could also use for stills. Along with the camera, I bought a telescopic extension pole and waterproof shutter.

The menu system on the GoPro is laggy and the wireless trigger pairs to the camera but does nothing.

Support ticket logged on 20th July, apart from the usual firmware updates, repair etc, I’m still no further forward.

Customer support only available on email with days going by and no feedback.

GoPro sort this out! Happy for you to contact me directly and I’ll happily give you my case number etc

A couple of days at the Mach Loop in Wales (21st May and 27th May.)

21st May saw a three ship of F15's, call sign Howler...It all seemed to quieten down until the afternoon when it became a Hawk/Texan fest...!! Not going to complain though, was great to see these guys traversing the welsh hillside.

27th May gave us some variety whilst we were all still hopeful for some RAF/USAF Fast Jet action given both Typhoons and F15/F35's had previously passed but it was not meant to be. That being said, we still had some great passes from the locals at RAF Valley, a 2 ship of Phenoms, a couple of passes from an RAF A400 and then out of the blue, a Hawker Hunter!

Been abit busy with work and my little girl as of late so haven’t had chance to get out with the camera but managed a couple of trips to Heli Ops the last couple of days.

The first batch of photos were mid week in the evening when 2 Merlin’s, followed by 2 Wildcats came in. Once the crew were onboard, within a matter of minutes (and a refuel), they were up up and away.

The second batch, featuring the Camo Seaking were taken yesterday lunchtime. After a circuit around the block, in he came and positioned himself out on the pan, enjoying the sunshine!

Been a while since I have shot some automotive content! Cobwebs blown away and good to get out with the camera again.

Popped along to a fairly local ish show/meet at Taunton Racecourse, hosted by ….. their second show of the year after the season opener at Newton Abbot.

One of the real stand outs for me and possibly my favourite of the event was this R35 GTR. The wheels, the colour, the low’s….!! But is it missing a rear wing? Answers on a postcard or the comments below 😉🤙
