Hi everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself properly. I’m Dave, the face behind DK Coastal Visuals.

Many of you may have noticed I’ve been quite quiet recently. The truth is that just over 4 weeks ago, my world changed forever. I lost my beautiful wife, Emma, at just 40 years old. We had been married for less than two years, and tomorrow I will say my final goodbye at her funeral. 💔

The pain and heartbreak are impossible to put into words, and our family is trying to come to terms with a loss that feels so incredibly unfair.

One of the reasons I started building this page was because of Emma. We shared a dream that one day I could turn my passion for photography, videography and drones into something more. Something that would allow me to spend less time away from home, be more flexible, and make more memories together as a family.

Sadly, we won’t get to see that dream unfold together in the way we planned.

But DK Coastal Visuals is now part of her legacy. Every photo I take, every video I create, and every step this page takes forward will be done with Emma in my heart.

Thank you to everyone who has followed the page, liked, shared, commented, and supported me so far. Your kindness over these past 4 weeks has meant more than you’ll ever know.

I look forward to sharing more of the beautiful places, landscapes and moments I capture, and I hope you’ll continue this journey with me.

The Woodland Wanderer crossing The Cob, Porthmadog… now that’s a view that never gets old 🚂🌿

Steam drifting across the Glaslyn Estuary, mountains standing tall in the distance, and the rhythm of the railway cutting through the heart of Eryri. Pure North Wales atmosphere. ✨

Moments like this are why I love being out creating content around our incredible coastline and countryside. 📸
