Huwdale photography are a growing photography business specializing in weddings and portraits, they are based in the Rhondda valley servicing South Wales and nationally. Dale Poole started as a freelance photographer while completing a University Degree in Photography and gaining an Associateship with the Royal Photographic Society of the UK. Over the past two years popularity has grown and Huwdal

e Photography now operate from their brand new Studio in Ynyshir Porth, and Dale is now joined by his husband Huw. They believe in the personal touch when it comes to weddings and pride themselves on their friendliness and forward planning, allowing couples to visit at the studio or on location to discuss requirements as many times as they need. This is also allows Huwdale photography to build close and lasting working relationships with their clients. Aside from weddings Dale is a working photographic artist and private tutor, and so where ever possible likes to bring creative skills and ideas to his wedding photography resulting in beautiful and timeless imagery that couples and families will cherish forever. Huw's 30 years experience working with the general public have given him fantastic communication skills that on a busy wedding day are simply irreplaceable. ❤️ “You guys are part of the memory.” ❤️

Every now and then, a review comes along that stops you in your tracks.

This one did exactly that. 🥹

We knew this wedding was going to be something special, but what a day it turned out to be! There was so much love, laughter, chaos, energy and downright FUN. Two amazing brides, surrounded by their favourite people, throwing themselves into one of the biggest celebrations of their lives.

And we absolutely loved every second of it.

We laughed, we joked, we got involved, we embraced the madness and, yes, we stayed a little longer than planned because we simply weren’t ready to leave! 😂

But reading their words afterwards… well, that got us right in the feels.

“You weren't just standing on the sidelines documenting it. You became part of our wedding.”

And then this…

“There are people who provide a service, do an amazing job and go home. And then there are people who somehow become part of the memory itself.
You guys are part of the memory.”

Honestly… ❤️

That is everything to us.

Yes, we want to create beautiful photographs and films that let our couples relive their wedding day for years to come. But more than that, we want you to feel comfortable with us, laugh with us, trust us, and feel like we're genuinely part of the day rather than two people standing behind cameras.

To these two incredible brides — thank you. For trusting us, for letting us into your wonderfully crazy world, for giving us so much to photograph and film, and for making us feel like friends rather than suppliers.

Your words made us smile.

And, if we're being completely honest, they brought a little tear to our eyes too. 🥹

Four Weddings, Four Very Different Celebrations
What a week! Four weddings, four gorgeous couples, and four completely different celebrations — we’ve certainly been kept busy!

We kicked things off at Maes Manor in Blackwood for the wedding of Sophie & Phil. A beautiful setting, a brilliant couple and a day packed with all the lovely moments that make weddings so special. It was the perfect way to start a very busy week.

The following day brought something a little different — an outdoor celebration at Candleston Woods for Beth & Matthew. Nature provided the backdrop, and the whole day had such a relaxed, laid-back feel. There’s something pretty special about celebrating outdoors, and Beth and Matthew made the most of every moment!

Then it was off to Llechwen Hall for Claire & Mike. What a fun-filled day! From the moment we arrived, there was a fantastic atmosphere, plenty of laughter and two people clearly having the absolute best time celebrating with their favourite people.

And finally, we rounded off the week at Coed y Mwstwr for Steph & Luke. Another gorgeous venue, another wonderful couple, and another day full of smiles, laughter and plenty of memorable moments.

Four weddings in a row is definitely a busy one, but when every couple brings their own personality, energy and story to the day, it makes it all worthwhile.
