Puffin antics from the Copeland Islands, off Donaghadee.

Earlier this month I spent 2 glorious days with Copeland Bird Observatory watching all the nature that the uninhabited island has to offer. The puffins nest on the cliffs so impossible to see from the top, unless they are on the water far below. Good to see lots with fish in their mouths meaning they are feeding their pufflings! More of the nature next post.

Skerries, Dublin.

After a delayed late night flight I decided to stay over and took a little wander about the town in lovely sunshine. I was amazed at the petunia display at the local supermarket. I wish mine would grow I like that, and what a lovely seaside town it is too! Lots to do and many photos to go through on my return.

Sunrise from Millisle,County Down.

Continuation from the lovely soft dawn light last week as the sun rose higher casting its warm orange light.

Such a beautiful dawn from the Ards Peninsula last week. Always a joy to watch when most are still sleeping!

Ballintoy bunny cuteness overload.

Oh I must apologise for so many images, but I wanted to catch their every little movement. The babies were just adorable and I've never had the chance before to stand from a distance as they hopped about in every direction or had a snooze in the sunshine.
It was such a magical hour spent watching them amongst the daisies.

Beautiful Ballintoy.

No trip to the North Coast would be complete without driving down the windy road, leading from the pretty and (well photographed) church to the harbour. The rock formations are just amazing especially Elephant Rock. The sea was calming now as the tide went out.

Whitepark Bay and Dunseverick Castle ruins.

The weather improved as I moved along the coast and the waves were still beautiful to watch. The views from the top are always impressive looking towards Rathlin Island and Port Bradden. I did wish that I had more time to walk along the beach but next time I will!

A beautiful sunrise this morning, hopefully the start of another glorious day!
