Surrounded by family and friends who loved each one, you could feel that this wasn't just a new chapter—it was a beautiful, hard-won victory.
Witnessing this journey was an absolute honour.

A forest walk, heavy boots, and a love forged through the real stuff.

I’m a firm believer that your couple shoot should be a personal experience. It’s a celebration of your unique rhythm. Whether you’re dressed to the nines or rocking torn denim and Doc Martens, the goal is the same: to capture the truth of your relationship.

Engagement sessions don't have to be a production. And they should be a reflection of you, both as an individual and as a couple. I'm equally honoured that I got to spend the afternoon with these two and capture a few stolen moments.

The magic isn’t in the clothes; it’s in the fact that you finally found your person.
Everything else is just noise.

“𝓟𝓱𝓸𝓽𝓸𝓰𝓻𝓪𝓹𝓱𝓼 𝓪𝓻𝓮 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓵𝓮𝓽𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓼 𝓽𝓸 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓹𝓪𝓼𝓽.”

This session was one of those gentle reminders of why I do what I do. It was raw, it was quiet, and it was intimate.

Mom and Dad had only just returned from the hospital—that blurry window where time seems to fold in on itself. Sleep was essentially a thing of the past, and their tiny little star was completely oblivious to the massive shift they had created.

There were no fancy setups or props. We didn’t aim for "perfect" poses or forced smiles. Instead, we moved with the natural rhythm of the morning. We paused for a nap, took breaks for a feed (or two), and worked around a nappy change. We let the house breathe.
This shoot was simply about a new mom and dad doting on their bundle, finding their footing in the beautiful, but exhausting, life-changing transition.

In the years to come, when the fog of the newborn days has lifted and this "tiny star" is grown, these images will serve their true purpose.
They aren't just snapshots; they are tangible echoes of a feeling.
By documenting the tired eyes and the unscripted cuddles, we’ve written a love letter to the past.
Even when the memories of these fleeting days begin to soften, the love captured within them remains crystal clear.

As a photographer I've always advocated for documenting moments. When I was pregnant with my own little one, I found it harder to summon the will to get dressed up and do the same. So it goes without saying that maternity shoots are always extra special to me.

This beautiful mama showed up looking incredible, with her gorgeous family all set. Beside making my role easier by simply being happy to walk around the garden, the amount of love they all had for the new member of their family was tangible. And big brother absolutely melted my heart. His energy and gentle love for mum and dad nearly brought me to tears.

And that's all that it's about....taking a moment to remember the moments.

Looking back on sunny days and special maternity shoots.

This particular session was understated yet beautiful. We had one main request – some serene shots inside the Turkish Baths – and luckily, it was pretty quiet. The natural light was amazing, and mama shone brightly. Definitely up there with my favourite days.

There's something incredibly humbling asking someone else to look at something you've created and judge it. It's also terrifying, and strangely, somehow also exhilarating.

From "the girl with the camera" to working a "real job" , figuring out married life and raising a little wildflower...somewhere I stopped taking pictures just for me.

So, I entered a competition!
I didn't place anywhere and that's not why I entered. I needed to start seeing my photos as art again and it seemed like a great way to start.
These are purely images I love, and most people will barely glance at them.
But I hope that they will inspire you to go and do something that scares you, something you really want to do but are afraid of failing at.

The hardest part was hitting submit. The best part was hitting submit!

Today is World Su***de Prevention Day💛
The purpose of this day is to raise awareness around the globe that su***de can be prevented.

Su***de remains one of the leading causes of death. It knows no boundaries-affecting people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds.
Three times as many people die by su***de in Northern Ireland each year than are killed in road traffic collisions
A total of 219,000 people have been directly affected by su***de since 2005
More than 70% of people who die by su***de are not known to mental health services
10% of 15/16 year olds have self-harmed at some stage

Changing the narrative on su***de is about transforming how we perceive this complex issue and shifting from a culture of silence and stigma to one of openness, understanding, and support.
