In the back end of January those of us who have spent the last 5 months waving a flag up and down the cover crops and woods in rain and shine get a chance to find out if all those birds the paying guns can't hit, are really as challenging as they make it look. YES - they are. Certainly on the fantastic estate where I go beating. Beaters Day is a tradition, but also an enormous privilege, to have such a fantastic days shooting with the friends you've worked with all season. Our Keeper works as hard for us as he has done for the paying clients and I'm sure all of us would echo my thank you for his time and effort, and I look forward to seeing you all again in September.
