I’m not able to get out this morning but it looks like there’s a good looking sunrise going on! It reminded me to share this one over Stanpit Marsh last week when we were visited by clouds of Saharan dust. Have a great week!

I very nearly missed spring this year as I was in the bathroom! Luckily on Wednesday morning I was in the right place at the right time to see the sun rising through the Saharan dust blowing over Mudeford Sandbank and those ever popular beach huts.

I headed to Kimmeridge Bay for what promised to be a good sunset with our atmosphere currently containing lots of Saharan dust. There was a nice glow as the sun disappeared behind a bank of low cloud but I still really struggle with seascapes. Must get more practice!

It was a real treat to look up and see the stars last night (quite mild too!) so I made the most of the perfect conditions and went up to Horton Tower with the drone to have a little fly round

Do you remember that time last week when the sun briefly showed its face? I was lucky enough to not be at work so headed out to Mudeford Quay and this view. There’s approximately £70million worth of beach huts in this photo!

As the rain continues to fall after having a day off on Tuesday, Yesterday it just didn’t stop! All this wet stuff and overcast days does bring out the colour in the woodlands and the moss covered trees in the New Forest look amazing!

Did anyone else see that strange object in the sky this morning? This was what I saw appearing over Mudeford Sandbank around 7.20am. Let me know if you’ve any idea what it is?

One from the archives to celebrate today. Before my love for landscape photography I used to do a lot of creative toy photography in my home studio and if the weather continues like this I might find myself doing some more! Happy Valentines Day. Check the comments to see what happened next!

Dare I say it but there were a few moments yesterday where it started to feel a little bit like Spring! The snow drops are now out in force and these ones near St Michael Church in Hinton were reflecting beautifully in some of the recent flood water.
