👁️ We're at the Dolphin Centre four days a week now — come and see your own eye, free

Hello! I'm Eric, I run The Snap Shot — I photograph people's irises and turn them into artwork. We're based right here in Poole.

Because of the summer holidays we've extended our days at the Dolphin Centre, so from now until the end of August we're there Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10am–4pm.

Here's the bit worth knowing: it costs nothing to come and look. Sit down for two minutes, and we'll show you your own iris on screen in a level of detail you've genuinely never seen on yourself. Most people are quite taken aback — no two eyes in the world are the same, and yours is properly extraordinary close up.

Nothing touches your eye, there are no drops, and there's no bright flash. Kids who can sit still love it. If you'd like a print, framed piece or acrylic afterwards you can — but there's no pressure at all, and plenty of people just come for the look and a chat.

Ask for us just inside the centre. No booking needed.

(Some time off — we're away 13th - 16th August & 20th August — otherwise we'll be there every Thursday to Sunday.)

🔥❄️ Introducing the Master Gallery — and I've saved the best eye I've ever photographed to open it.

This is "Fire & Ice." Connor was born with sectoral heterochromia — one iris split clean between burnt copper and glacial blue, divided by a river of white light. I've photographed over 1,000 irises at my stall and in people's homes. Nothing has ever come close.

So it's become the first release in our Master Gallery: a limited edition of just 50 numbered acrylic artworks. Each one ships with a hand-signed certificate of authenticity, and №1 stays with the studio as the artist's proof. When they're gone, it is never printed at this size again.

The Snap Shot is back — and this time, every Saturday at the Dolphin Centre in Poole.

We photograph the one part of you that's truly unique on this earth — the iris of your eye. Every line, ring and fleck has formed over years of you being you. We capture it in stunning detail, then turn it into custom artwork: just yours, or yours and your partner's, or the whole family combined into a single piece.

Back at Dolphin Centre tomorrow for one day only after a few weeks away 📸👁️

We already have several bookings in place, including a group booking, so tomorrow is looking busy — but we still have a few spaces available for anyone wanting their iris photographed.
