First wedding of 2026 in the bag!
At every wedding there’s a moment that stays with me.
Sometimes it’s grand and cinematic.
Sometimes it’s quiet. Almost unnoticed.
For Rob & Allysha’s day, it was a sentence.
I walked into the ceremony space, set my bags down, went over to Rob to let him know we were good to go — his bride was ready.
He didn’t ask how he looked.
He didn’t ask how many guests were seated.
He asked, “Is she okay? Does she feel beautiful?”
And he really meant it.
Hands twisted together, nerves written all over him — and all he cared about was whether his bride felt beautiful before she walked down the aisle.
In that moment, I knew he was something special.
I reassured him she looked incredible. Glowing. Radiant. Completely herself.
And I made sure she knew it too — because frankly, she was breathtaking.
Allysha is beautiful inside and out. Her warmth, kindness, intelligence and thoughtfulness just radiate from her.
This day wasn’t about a big display.
It was about two people who have grown together over years — doing the “marriage” bit officially, but who were already each other’s person long before the paperwork.
And it showed.
If you’re planning a wedding, let this be your reminder:
It doesn’t have to be loud, viral or perfectly curated.
It just has to feel like you.
The real magic isn’t in the trends — it’s in the quiet moments, the squeezed hands, the “does she feel beautiful?” kind of love.
That’s what lasts. And that’s what I’ll always look for.
