Common Puffballs are in abundance at Westwood forest at the moment, with the woodland floor being the ideal environment for them to grow.

Standing tall. Dotted throughout Wentwood Forest are these mighty ancient oak trees. They make for impressive subjects, especially when in full autumn colours and a little mist in the background. I’d love to know just how old this tree actually is.

Something a little different from today’s jolly to Wentwood Forest. I’ve tried to emulate the work of Spanish photographer Pep Ventosa by taking 40 photographs whilst moving 360° around this tree. These images are then blended together to create a very abstract looking image. Think I might have found myself a little project to pursue!

The view down the Nant Gwynant valley, Eryri is a view I’ll never get bored of. After a steep climb up from the narrow road to a vantage point overlooking the valley I just found myself absorbing the moment and sitting there taking it all in.

It’s crazy to think that this waterfall can be found less than 150m from the side of a busy trunk road through Eryri, North Wales. I wonder how many people drive past it every day and have no idea it’s there? This is why I keep returning to photograph the region!

The Milky Way and Aurora over Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon, Iceland. This was taken not long after we were able to travel again after the C-word, and in some of the harshest winds I’ve ever experienced in Iceland.
