ONE already… where did that year go? 🤍🧁

It only feels like yesterday I was wrapping this gorgeous little boy up for his newborn session, and now here he is celebrating his first birthday with the happiest cake smash!

We even managed to include his best four-legged friend, Jax, who was an absolute superstar (and very interested in the cake! 🐶😂).

Watching the little personalities that emerge over that first year is one of my favourite parts of this job. Seeing families return and trusting me to capture these precious milestones is something I’ll never take for granted.

Happy 1st Birthday, little man! Thank you for letting me be part of your journey from those tiny newborn cuddles to cake covered smiles. 🤍

Some stories stay with you forever… 🤍

A few years ago I had the privilege of photographing beautiful Elsie (and Hugo the pup of course!) as a newborn, and this week she returned to my studio with the newest addition to the family… precious little Bodhi.

Watching families grow and being invited back to capture these milestones is something I’ll never take for granted.

This session also held some incredibly meaningful touches. Nestled beside Bodhi is his twin sister Tilly’s hat, lovingly placed in her memory, a beautiful reminder that she will always be part of this family’s story. 🤍

Thank you for trusting me once again to preserve these memories. It has been such an honour to photograph another chapter in your family’s journey.
