I think I finally found my way back
And maybe that’s why this new season of work feels different.
For the first time in two years, I stepped back in front of the camera.
The last time I had branding photographs taken, I was two months pregnant.
Back then, I was standing on the edge of a completely new life without even realising how much I was about to change.
Over the last couple of years, I’ve spoken honestly about not quite feeling ready to return to the camera fully. Motherhood changed me in ways I couldn’t immediately explain. Somewhere between raising a tiny human, rebuilding routines, navigating exhaustion, and trying to reconnect with work, I lost sight of who I was creatively.
Not permanently.Just quietly.
And I think many women understand that feeling.
You become so many things to so many people that your own identity starts to blur around the edges.
But recently, something shifted.
Not overnight.Not dramatically.
Just slowly, naturally, I started finding myself again.
And when I looked through these new branding photographs, I realised something very clearly:
I am an artist.
Not simply somebody who “takes photos”.
My work has never been about pressing a shutter. It’s about emotion, storytelling, atmosphere, connection, interpretation. My personal experiences, emotions, seasons of life — they all shape the way I create.
What inspires me changes the work. What moves me changes the work.
And that’s exactly why no two sessions I create are ever the same.
When somebody comes to me with their story — whether that’s motherhood, their business, a personal milestone, a life transition, or simply wanting to feel seen again — that becomes the starting point.
From there, I begin creating.
The styling.The location.The light.The feeling.The details.The energy.
Everything is chosen intentionally to reflect who they are and what they want to say without words.
That’s the part I love most:taking somebody’s story and turning it into something visual and lasting.
Not just photographs.Artwork.
Images that make you feel something.
Because the truth is, the most powerful photographs were never just about how something looked.
They’re about how a moment felt.
And preserving that feeling forever.
And if you’re in a season of rediscovering yourself too — whether in motherhood, business, or life — I’d love to help you document it in a way that feels honest, beautiful, and completely you.
