L I S A N N E // and Fergal. Rockbeare Manor.

Go big or go home was Lisanne’s mantra, and I think it’s safe to say they understood the assignment.

From a 4am alarm for their sunrise pre-shoot, to a wedding day that somehow got bigger, louder and more fun as the hours went on.

Black tie. Golden fields. One hell of a wedding party. A bride running through the fields in that DRESS. And the kind of evening light photographers dream about.

Lisanne and Fergal, you were an absolute joy.

SUNRISE // preshoot.

4am starts aren’t usually my thing… but for these two, absolutely.

Meeting Fergal & Lisanne in Sidmouth as the sun came up was so worth it.
Tomorrow they get married, and I genuinely can’t wait

B A C K // in April we met up on Dartmoor for George & Ella’s pre wedding shoot… and I think it’s safe to say they absolutely understood the assignment.

Partly to shake off any camera nerves before the big day, partly because they fully embraced my suggestion of recreating some gloriously awkward 90s family photo poses. The more questionable, the better.

Between the laughter, the dramatic dips and the wonderfully cringe poses, we also captured plenty of moments that felt completely them. Relaxed, playful and just enjoying being together.

Now I cannot wait for their wedding, where we’ll be bringing back a few of these iconic poses alongside all the real, emotional moments. I have a feeling future generations might be equally confused and impressed.

An // English rose, a New Yorker, and a castle.

Katie and Blake tied the knot at Powderham Castle on Saturday, and what a beautiful day it was. From emotional moments to golden evening portraits, it was one of those weddings that felt effortlessly elegant from start to finish.

This photo almost didn’t happen.

When we opened the dress bag that morning… the wedding dress wasn’t inside. After a few panicked phone calls, one incredible bridesmaid and a guest jumped in the car and drove 45 minutes to collect it. Swipe to picture 4, to see the moment they finally arrived back at the castle.

Katie had been waiting at the window, watching and hoping. The little heart says it all. Sometimes it’s the unexpected moments that become the ones you remember forever.

L O V E // is love. Always.

On Monday I had the privilege of photographing Louisa & Kate as they said “I do” at the iconic Old Marylebone Town Hall.

From confetti on the steps to stolen moments on quiet London streets and even a ride on the Underground, their day was effortlessly them. Relaxed, joyful and full of genuine connection.

One of my favourite parts of their story is that they didn’t just choose to share a surname. Together, they created an entirely new one, combining the surnames of both of the female lines in their families, A beautiful way of honouring the women who came before them and keeping those family names alive.

As someone who photographs all love stories, it’s always a privilege to capture LGBTQ+ weddings. Every couple deserves to celebrate openly, authentically and in whatever way feels right for them. Whether that’s writing your own rules, creating new traditions, or simply having a wedding day that reflects exactly who you are.

Congratulations, Louisa & Kate. Thank you for trusting me to tell your story. It was an absolute joy. 🤍

Y O U R // day is finally here. Today I’m in London for Louisa and Kate’s wedding. These photos were taken on their preshoot earlier in the year. These sessions are never just about getting photos for the wedding. They’re about slowing everything down, getting comfortable in front of the camera, and celebrating this chapter before the next one begins.

I had the privilege of photographing the very first wedding held here after the renovations, and it’s easy to see why this venue is becoming one of Devon’s most sought after places to say “I do.”

From the character of the manor house to the beautiful gardens, every corner feels thoughtfully designed while still keeping all the charm that makes Churston Court so special.

These two absolutely embraced the day. Designer details, champagne, confetti, happy tears, napkin waving, and all the in-between moments that make a wedding feel completely them.

A // month ago already, and I still don’t think I’ve stopped smiling going through these.

Alex & Lillie’s day The Great Barn Devon | Luxury Wedding Destination was one of those weddings that just felt easy. No fuss, no pretending, just two brilliant people completely wrapped up in each other and surrounded by everyone who loves them.

The flowers looked like they’d been picked straight from an English garden, the dance floor was absolute chaos in the best possible way, and there were laughs from the first hug to the last song.

A L W A Y S // get excited when I get a roll of film back.
It’s never about perfection. Sometimes it’s the soft focus, the grain, or the unexpected frame that ends up being my favourite.

L O V E // as wild as the moors.

Here’s a few of my favourite black and white photos from Katie & Blake’s preshoot on Dartmoor.
They live in New York, but for their preshoot English major Katie wanted her own Wuthering Heights moment on the moors with her Blake, and honestly it all felt like something straight out of a novel.
Windswept hills, soft light and these two completely wrapped up in each other.
I can’t wait to capture their wedding later this year at Powderham Castle.

Also, Blake told me, every time he has visited the UK it’s been sunny… so here’s hoping he brings the weather back one more time for the wedding.
