Nature always finds its way.
This was taken on a family walk when we stopped for lunch. I was sat waiting on the bench and noticed this cool growth between the gap in the bench, some lightroom tweaks later and here is the outcome.

I took this shot whilst on a work trip. I actually set out to capture a completely different shot and this was taken on my way back to the hotel room. Its funny with photography because you set out to get the perfect shot in the best location, then more often than not you end up getting something completely different and it turns out nice.

This shot was taken on a family walk. I was busy snapping everything and everything meaning I got left behind on the walk, this then presented a great opportunity to get the in-laws in the shot of the winding paths.

The early bird catches the deer photograph
This image was shot a year or so ago. I met up with a friend and we left for Mount Edgcumbe Folly about 04:30, several gulps of coffee later after we arrived we left the carpark, just before we got to our spot we spotted this small herd of deer. I quickly changed over to the 70-200 and managed to get them in frame at 200mm

We came across this goose whilst on a family walk at Burrator reservoir. I only just spotted it through the wooded area, only having a an 85mm on me I had to get fairly close to snap this shot, surprisingly the goose was very calm and didn't mind me at all.
