I get asked all the time “when is the best time to have a newborn photo shoot” and the best time is when they are tiny! Definitely by 12 weeks.

And no you don’t need the perfect house. Or your babies in a strict routine.

Your babies won’t be tiny forever.

We owe you a little apology 🤍

We really tried.

We watched the forecast.
We rearranged dates.
We hoped the rain would ease.

But the truth is… this half term’s outdoor mini shoots just haven’t worked.

The weather has been absolutely appalling 🌧️ Flooded fields, muddy paths, grey skies that just aren’t giving the light or the experience we want for you.

And rather than keep postponing and waiting for the rain to stop… we’ve decided to pivot.

So instead, we’re launching something that doesn’t depend on the forecast at all.

These sessions aren’t about perfectly styled rooms or stiff posing. They’re about:

• Tiny curled newborn toes wrapped in soft blankets

• Parents sitting close on the sofa, holding both chaos and calm
• The dog wandering into the frame because… that’s real life

The light is soft.
