Intimate Weddings hold a special place in my heart. A few hours with Yas and Michele and their 17 guests was a true honour. I am so lucky to meet and photograph such lovely people and their families. I think you nailed the traditional Sicilian Wedding portrait. Thank you both ###

Beaumanor Hall is the Loughborough registration office in Woodhouse, Leicestershire. A gorgous, unique old building. But also a place that holds memories for me of childhood residentials, mugs of tea in rickety scout huts. After the ceremony we drove for portraits by the stream in Swithland Woods where my grandparents took my sister and I for picnics. It felt so special to be photographing a bride and groom here!

It is a privilege to be invited to capture Weddings with a specially selected, smaller guest list. Your attitude, approach and behaviour as a photographer is highlighted as the only stranger in the space.
I approach each Wedding as an once in a lifetime event. Shooting for legacy not trends. The collection of images you receive will be the moments and the people who matter to you and the sparks of joy.

The moment you forget the camera. I will see.

A beautiful intimate ceremony, arrivals at ,confetti, congratulations, groups, portraits, a little break for me while nearest and dearest dined. Then to Beeston Fields Golf Club for the big party including a few outfit changes and 5 minutes aways for beautiful low light portraits. A&B had such a clear vision, l am honoured to have been chosen to be a part.

Anna & Tom at the gorgeously relaxed Barlow Woodseats Hall - Another absolutely scorching day, (each time I visit it seems to be the hottest day of the year). A beautiful, emotional, outdoor, celebrant ceremony officiated by a friend. Stunning florals by another very talented friend Ruth Ruth Freeman . The perfect gathering of friends in celebration, beautiful Barlow light, amazing food and plenty of Shania on the dance floor.

Artful, unexpected, the inbetween, connecting your key moments. Some of my glimmers from

Rebecca + Carl, Crich and Moorwood Moor. Their shorter coverage included arrivals, the church ceremony, a small no. of groups, 5 mins of relaxed couples portraits and the beginning of their informal, tipi garden party at their home. My reflection of the energy and emotion of those few hours.

When E&D contacted me to say “We are not planning a typical 'wedding' and want to privately exchange some vows/special words at a countryside walk in the peak district which means a lot to us”. I did a little dance, everything about this idea completely resonated with me.

E went on to say - “This is something I've always thought about doing and it would mean so much having these moments caught on camera. We are not very confident having our photos taken and can be quite awkward”…..

I LOVED this opportunity. These photos were taken the evening before their intimate civil ceremony in Sheffield and are anything but awkward. I cannot think of anything more perfect to be a part of. E&D it was a huge honour to be able to capture these images to commemorate your marriage in a location that means so much to you. Thank you for your trust.
