25th July 2026. Thornbury MX, New Grittenham.
Well what a treat we had in store today, not only did we have the usual awesome track perfectly prepped by Lawson & co and the continued fantastic weather, but were also spoilt by having Conrad Mewse & friends putting in some very quick laps and displaying some stunning skills & technique in the process.

11th July 2026. Dursley Southwest Challenge Shield, Grittenham.

Well that was hot!!!!!! ☀️ The weather certainly provided some challenges for the riders, the track team and an ageing photographer! 🥵 So a massive shout out to Lawson & co, who had to work tirelessly throughout the day to keep the track in shape, and to the riders for their heroics riding in that heat.

PLEASE NOTE! Because of the weather and the timings, I only covered the first session (I believe Ken will be doing something similar today). As there will be fewer photos of everyone, for this week a full set has been reduced to £10. We hope you will understand and not be too disappointed.

Almondsbury Pony Show, Sunday 5th July 2026
After missing last year's show show through illness, it was so good to be back at one of my favourite events. The weather was perfect and it was great to see lots of old and plenty of new faces at this wonderful fun-filled family event. With all the profits from the day going to some amazing local charities, if you missed this year's fun then I recommend you put the date in your diary for next year..... Sunday 4th July 2027.

Apologies to everyone who's been eagerly awaiting the photos from yesterday, I had my son's birthday BBQ in the afternoon.

Yet another perfect day on another perfectly prepped track! It really is a testament to Lawson & the gang's experience and expert judgement that get these tracks in such great shape time after time. Conditions were spot on for some fast laps and exciting action.
