Planning your wedding
After photographing weddings for over a decade, I've learned one thing…
The best wedding photos don't happen by chance. They happen when your day has just enough planning to let you relax and enjoy it.
✨ Build a timeline with breathing room.
✨ Allow extra time for travel.
✨ Check your ceremony photography rules if you're marrying in church.
✨ Don't underestimate the time needed for family photos.
✨ Sneak away for 10 minutes at sunset—you'll never regret it.
My role isn't just to take beautiful photographs. It's to help your day flow naturally, keep things calm when timings drift (because they always do a little), and capture the moments that matter most.
Every wedding is different, but thoughtful planning means you'll spend less time watching the clock and more time soaking up every second of your day.
The first in a new series of planning blogs is now available on my website, so head over there for more of my favourite planning tips to help make your wedding day feel relaxed, joyful and completely yours.
