Castle In the Mist

Kilchurn in the Mist

One of those quiet Scottish mornings where the landscape almost feels like a dream. I came across Kilchurn Castle sitting peacefully on the edge of the loch, surrounded by mist and still water, with the castle reflected almost perfectly below.

Elemental

Elgol, 2018. Probably my favourite photo Ive taken. It has everything for me, drama, light and atmosphere. Also Elgol is My most loved location to stay, I would love to live there. Also this image holds lots of memories for Me, it was My 50th Birthday weekend, Myself and My partner Lisa had just done the NC500 and finished here for a week at Port Elgol Cottage, two of My best friends Martin and Nick joined us for the weekend and we had a fantastic couple of days of photography.

Where The Sea Finds Its Way

Myself and My good Mate Martin headed out for a day of photography and decided on a visit to Holy Island. We got there and had a little explore and stumbled across this little bay that had some nice waves breaking and some nice looking rocks, so we took a few photos and then I noticed this crevice where the tide was pushing through the rocks, creating all these beautiful little streams of water that seemed to come alive with a longer exposure. Had some great rain clouds in the distance adding a little drama, the light was a bit harsh some I'm really happy how this turned out.
