📸 MICRO-WEDDINGS — under 20 guests
Small, intentional and beautifully personal. 1 hour of getting-ready coverage through to the end of speeches, so you get the story of the day without needing hours and hours of coverage.

📸 ELOPEMENTS — under 5 guests
For couples who want something a little more adventurous. A few hours of coverage, including your ceremony, the moments around it, and a proper couples' photoshoot somewhere epic. Think wild landscapes, mountains, coastlines, forests… wherever feels like you.

Back on Skye earlier this month and I was tasked with photographing their new chalet at Otter Lodge in Broadford - followed then by more ‘lifestyle’ shots inside and outside the previous properties I’ve already become well acquainted with around Skye.

I met up with Holly and her two humans a couple of weeks ago and she had a fab time going for a walk, doing all the tricks for the camera, eating lots of treats and generally having a lot of fun during our pet session.
Her humans were equally lovely and equally as photogenic too!

There is currently a campaign to protect the Glenelg ferry from “ancient rights” claimed by an absentee island landlord.

Having lived in Glenelg and gone to school there - this issue is very close to home.

The last manually-operated turntable in the world connects Glenelg on the mainland to Kylerhea on Skye has been run by a not-for-profit community company for the last 20 years.

Landlord Richard Oliphant, a retired financier and ‘chief’ of Clan Oliphant who is based between Edinburgh and the Kylerhea estate on the island, claims ‘Rights to Ferry’ over use of his slipway, with a further clause setting out that the amount collected each year must be greater than the last The Glenelg-Kylerhea Ferry. The ferry has not been as profitable over the past few years and paying the claimed amount to the Landlord means that they cannot sustain costs and risk having to cease running completely.

Yesterday I was back at the Hermitage for Dale & Sean’s micro-wedding in Ossians Hall at The Hermitage and Dunkeld NTS. It was a gorgeous day & it was such a lovely ceremony.

Fay & Fi had a beautiful micro-wedding near Nethybridge this weekend. They both read out very emotional vows to each other…I was even in tears… in front over just their closest family and then we went for a wee trip to the nearby Castle Roy for some coupley photos before returning the girls to their evening BBQ and party.
