From June , a young fox, taken locally in possibly the thickest wettest fog I've ever been out in! I really struggled to see a few feet in from of me! this wee dude was out exploring, I have seen this family on a regular basis, the young are at the age where they are hunting for themselves so not really all staying together, but I have seen 4 foxes at the entrance to the den 1 adult and 2 young, but the other one was too hidden to tell if it was another young or another adult, and I really didn't want to go to close and disturb them so still not sure, but they are wonderful to watch from a distance going about their foxy business🥰

Young kestrel learning to hunt last month, it was flying up then dropping its prey then pouncing on it agin before it hit the ground! really interesting to watch, and great to see how much all the local wildlife has thrived without disturbance during lockdown!

So finally dusted off the camera and got out for the first time since February! It felt so good to be back out again, but the weather does not want to play nice! since restrictions were eased the weather has been shocking in evenings with thick fog and crazy strong winds, apart from last Monday evening when it was perfect light! the wildlife doesn't care about the weather thankfully. This Kestrel was using the wind as an advantage for hunting as it just hung in the air without using any energy at all. they are amazing birds
