I’m incredibly honoured to have received the runner-up prize out of 110 submissions; a truly humbling recognition. I’m so pleased to have my work acknowledged in this way, and I hope this milestone will help propel my artistic career forward.

My sincere thanks to the entire Blackfield Creative team and the judges at Wisbech Gallery for the opportunity not only to exhibit my work, but also to contribute to the installation and curation of the exhibition. It’s been a rewarding experience to be involved in both the creative and curatorial aspects of the show.

This project is all about shifting perspectives, taking graffiti out of its usual environment and presenting it in new contexts where people might see it differently.

It feels amazing to see the work come to life in a gallery space, and I’m really grateful for the opportunity to share it with a wider audience.

If you’re in the area, pop in and take a look. Would be lovely to hear what you think!

This book explores the aesthetic and symbolic significance of nature through the historical photographic process of cyanotype. Each image captures botanical forms in a rich blue pigment, accompanied by an original poem reflecting on nature’s value to the natural world. This book emphasises a connection to the environment, integrating materiality with theme to create a coherent and reflective study of nature.

My class and I will be hosting an exhibition at the Key Theatre in Peterborough on March 27th and 28th, showcasing the projects we have been developing over the past year for our undergraduate major project. My exhibition space focuses on reframing graffiti as a legitimate art form, challenging its common association with vandalism. If you are in or around the Peterborough area on these dates, I would be delighted to welcome you to the exhibition.
