💼 BUSINESS PHOTOGRAPHY 💼

I was contacted by the lovely people at Perth and Kinross Heritage Trust to take some press/publicity photos for their planning meeting for proposals and ideas for their latest five year Strategic Plan.

The location for their meeting was the Perth Art Gallery Sculpture Court, which is a fantastic mix of ornate design, vibrant colour and a range of art work which made for a much more picturesque backdrop to proceedings than the average conference room!

As well as being able to capture the team in action as they planned their future endeavours, it was fascinating to be able to listen in on the vital work they do in cataloguing, conservation, archaeology and education with regards to preserving local heritage sites and information.

🪢WEDDING 🪢

It might've been one of the hottest days in that blazing hot summer, especially for those in full dress kilts, but thankfully that's the only reason anyone was sweating as Charmaine & Jack still had a lovely ceremony at The Windsor Hotel in Kirkcaldy with Cally Forbes from Sacred Heart, including candle lighting for those who couldn't be there and a sand ceremony that made the whole family an important part of the day. We took some time for family pictures down at Pathhead Sands before heading back for a lively, fun filled evening reception.

👩‍🎓 SCHOOL PHOTOS 🧑‍🎓

It’s that time of year again with shiny, new, yet-to-be-scuffed shoes and tie tying lessons.

Whether it’s a big deal year and your child is starting nursery, P1 or S1, or it’s an annual tradition, don’t wait for the gamble of the production line “official” school photos where you might feel like you have to make do paying for a less than ideal result.

Get in touch with Stuart R. Wood Photography for pictures taken in a relaxed fashion, with time and care, so you get results you’ll love.
We can do photos either indoors in a traditional format or we can venture outside and do photos at a location. For an indoor shoot we can come to your home and set up our compact portable studio. This requires an area of approx 7ft by 5ft. For an outdoor shoot, we can accommodate almost anything.

For £30 you will get a thirty minute photoshoot session. Afterwards you will receive two full size digital photos. You can add additional siblings for £15 per child. For that we will extend the session to include two individual photos for each child and two group photos of all children together.

🪢 WEDDING 🪢

Jill & Steven were actually already married way back in 2001 in a small registry office ceremony. But for their Silver wedding anniversary they decided to have a vow renewal that acted as the big wedding they weren't able to have back then! A perfect day by Loch Lomond provided the stunning backdrop for a wonderful intimate ceremony, from the always fantastic Beverley Bryant, involving family and close friends.

Amy & Jimmy were married in a lovely ceremony at Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Spa that was high energy from start to finish. From the prep that felt like an extension of the hen party, to Darren's lively ceremony through to the party in the evening, everyone came to have a good time, which is the way it should be. There was quieter moments too as we took time for Amy to go visit her mum. And experimental moments too as we tried to recreate some shots that Amy had seen on social media, which we're always happy to try and accommodate!

Danni & Angie were married on a sunny, if a little breezy, day at the lovely Inn At Charlestown! They say don't work with children and animals, but no wedding is complete without all the most important family members there, so their dogs Buddy and Ludo acted as ring bearers during the ceremony and thankfully understood the assignment so were on their best behaviour! We nipped down to the lime kilns by the harbour for a few windswept photos before heading back for some very poignant, and funny speeches, then the partying really started.
