👩‍🎓 SCHOOL PHOTOS 🧑‍🎓

It’s that time of year again with shiny new yet to be scuffed shoes and tie tying lessons.

Whether it’s a big deal year and your child is starting nursery, P1 or S1, or it’s an annual tradition, don’t wait for the gamble of the production line “official” school photos where you might feel like you have to make do paying for a less than ideal result. Get in touch with S.R. Wood Photography for pictures taken in a relaxed fashion, with time and care, so you get results you’ll love.

We can do photos either indoors in a traditional format or we can venture outside and do photos at a location. For an indoor shoot we can come to your home and set up our compact portable studio. This requires an area of approx 7ft by 5ft. For an outdoor shoot, we can accommodate almost anything.

For £30 you will get a thirty minute photoshoot session. Afterwards you will receive two full size digital photos. You can add additional siblings for £15 per child. For that we will extend the session to include two individual photos for each child and two group photos of all children together.

(The pictures featured here were taken at the client’s home (outdoors and indoors), Slessor Gardens Dundee, Barnhill Rock Gardens Broughty Ferry, Inchture Primary School, and indoors with our portable studio)

💷 COVERAGE PACKAGE PRICE REVISIONS 2025 💷

Unfortunately it's that worst time of year, where I have to make adjustments to our prices. Just like everyone else we're unfortunately impacted by rising costs all around and have to factor this in to what we charge accordingly.

As always I try to mitigate that as much as possible in line with the "Professional Photography For Everyone" ethos, so to that end the changes are as follows:

The discounted rate for 2025 and standard rate for 2026 weddings remains as is, but going forward, the prices for wedding coverage for 2027 weddings will increase to £550 for Small, £750 for Medium and £950 for Full Day packages respectively.

I hope you all understand the need for these changes but I also hope you can appreciate this still represents a highly competitive rate within our increasingly busy market and it won't put you off getting in touch to book your wedding photography with us.

Congratulations Jenny and Darren, who were married at Piperdam Resort over the weekend. The weather was glorious, which is great for photographs, but at pushing 30 degrees at times, maybe not for everyone out in their finest heavy wool formal kilt dress! 🥵
