Dunnottar Castle Perched on the edge of the North Sea on a moody day, where centuries of storms have carved both stone and legend. Every ruined wall has a story, every gust of wind carries another chapter. Scotland never asks for attention… it simply earns it. 🏰

While the world sleeps under streetlights, some of us sleep beneath mountains. One tent, a small fire, and the endless silence of the Scottish Highlands.

Would you spend a night here? ⛺🔥 The Scottish Highlands have a way of making everything else feel very far away…

“A lonely white cottage beneath the towering giants of Glencoe. The kind of place where time slows, the river whispers, and the mountains remind you how small we really are. 🌿🏔️”

The “wee white house” at Glencoe, officially known as the Lagangarbh Hut.
Would you live here? 🏡⛰️

Scotland never asks for attention. It simply waits, and rewards those who are patient.

Sometimes the best campsite isn’t the one with the best facilities… it’s the one that gives you the best perspective.

After a day of winding Highland roads, I pitched my tent beside the peaceful waters of Loch a’ Chroisg. As the sun disappeared behind the mountains, everything slowed down. No signal. No distractions. Just the sound of the water, the wind across the glen, and a reminder that the world doesn’t always need to move at full speed.

This is why I wild camp.

Not to escape life, but to reconnect with it.
