At times like this it's always nice to be reminded by clients of happier days.

I received a message a couple of days ago from one of my 2018 brides with an attached photo.

"I'm sat at my desk and this is pinned to my board. It's my favourite photo from our wedding. I absolutely love that you have captured a moment where Mikie and I are in our bubble and I can't thank you enough. This special moment is captured forever thanks to you. xx"

The photo below is the one Tash was talking about. It's like there is no-one else in the church. Two people so in love that they transfixed by one another.

I wrote this post back in 2014 and gifting a tree planting is something that I still do for my wedding clients.

It is important to me for so many reasons that I do this. As someone who prefers to use nature as a backdrop in my photography I think it's essential that we look after it too.

**Just a wee reminder**

Recently I have had a few enquiries from people down in Herefordshire.

It's lovely to hear that clients have been recommending me etc but I'm now based near Perth, Scotland. That's a tad to far for me to travel for headshots or a family lifestyle photoshoot.

I've just read this article and it astounds me how hurtful people can be.

We all have our own style, taste and budgets. There is absolutely no need for catty remarks about someone's wedding day. All that ultimately matters is that the two people in love share their day with loved ones.

Personally I love simple foliage bouquets and have been championing them for many years now.
