It's the first day of the best month of the year *imo* 🍂
I love October and not just because it's my birthday month!

It's the chill in the air that's bearable, the colours, the introduction of seasonal coffees, jumpers and boots, fragrant candles, the normalisation of Sunday roasts again, the feeling that life can slow down, fires, staying indoors in the warm (but equally, crisp walls), halloween and pumpkin patches 🎃

It feels all very nostalgic, and that's what I love about it ✨️

In light of this, I used Ai and played around with the first photo that and I created for as an attempt to encapsulate October in an image 🤎

Recent work with the ray of sunshine ☀️

Sofia was after an update for her modelling portfolio and asked if we could do it in the style of my latest shoot, so I called up my Dad, got the dust sheets and we made our way back to Idless Woods 🌲

Sofia had a few outfits and brought along a gorgeous peacock blue chair and even a speaker for music 🤍

On a slightly different note, I know there is a conflicting opinion surrounding Ai and thought I would address my usage of it. I have personally found it to be so much fun to work with & I don't think it needs to be a threat. For me, I find that it can add to my work and compliment it in the most magical way.

For as long as I can remember, I've always added different aspects into my photography, and Ai to me is a gateway into my imagination. I get absolutely lost in the neverending concepts that I can add into my photos. With that being said, I do understand why some people are not fans, but for the moment, I'm enjoying it ☀️

Very recent work for showcasing her beautiful designs with the gorgeous (inside and out) ✨️

I've had this vision for so long, and Tash gave me free rein to go with this concept.
I honestly couldn't be more ecstatic with the results!

I borrowed some dust sheets that my Dad uses on site as a builder 😂 We took a chair and some lavender for props and headed to Idless Woods where a wild wee occurred.

It was really a lovely shoot and without sounding too gushy, made soooo much better when the people you work with are so lovely 🤍✨️

A week ago today, .story and I were shooting a few different looks for ✨️

The location was Fistral Beach (of course), and I was really happy with how they came out 🌞

Shooting fashion is made soooo easy when the pieces are this beautiful 🤍

I've been feeling a bit black and white the past couple of days if I'm completely transparent

I've been struck with a particularly difficult episode of health OCD and it's not been fun 👎

And with it, I've been trying really hard not to resort back to old thought patterns like feeling guilty if I take a bit of time out in my day (I'm soooo bad at this)

I hope you are having a good week so far, and if you, too, are struggling a bit mentally, just know that it's temporary. Something that really helps to ground me sometimes is I imagine that it's like a cloud above me, which always seems to dissipate after a while 🤍 I hope this can help you too ✨️
