Solo Sailor ⚓️

It’s the return of the blues. Moving into that time of year when we will see big surf, winter storms and copious amounts of hot chocolate.

I have to say autumn and winter are definitely seasons that I enjoy, especially living in Cornwall. Really need to pull the trigger on a long lens once and for all - 100-400 or 200-600? that is the question.

Round The Twist

The title may only be relevant to 90’s kids, to all the millennials I can only apologise! I’m still shocked there isn’t a lighthouse emoji, would make life a lot easier writing captions 😅.

A warmer edit from a beaut sunset a year or two ago at Trevose Head. This was my first time visiting here and it’s definitely a special place. Versatile to shoot with different gradients, perfect for automotive or commercial shoots.

Sea-nic Frame 🖼 ⛵️

After enjoying the nice weather and celebrations in Falmouth over the weekend we headed towards an old fort to watch the sailing boats go by.

I hadn’t planned on shooting but luckily I was equipped with my camera as I spotted this frame emerging. This shot is framed and ready for the wall.

Are you fawned of this shot? I have no i-deer 🦌 🔭

I’ve seen these deer in the nearby fields on numerous occasions, but never actually located them. You may have seen my story a few days ago where I went on a an evening mission and capture them.

Trying to get close without disturbing them was difficult to say the least. Once I settled I managed to get some nice shots, really pushing my 70-200 to its absolute limit 😅.

I also got some nice video footage which should make great reels. Who knew there were albino deers?! Swipe along to see. Hope you all had a great weekend! 🤙🏼

Sandy Stroller 🌊 👣

The slightly unnerving sound of a drone hovering above. It doesn’t necessarily add tranquility to an evening stroll, thankfully this lady and her dog were happy to be subjects for this one 😜

Covert Cove 🧗‍♂️

It’s always a welcome surprise when you discover an interesting part of the coast. We could have spent hours here exploring the caves, like looking out of a window to the moody scenes in front of us.

Mountain Motor 🚘 ⛰

A shot taken along the of .galloway ‘s F-Type. To say the very least, these roads are something else. Has anyone ever driven this route? I’d love to do it again.

Inhale Ex-scale 🪨

A little throw back to droning this incredible stretch of coastline a few years back. I could have spent hours exploring the caves here, so many interesting rock formations and shooting it from above definitely shows off the stature of these rocks!

Highland Hike 🥾 🪨

Ethereal scenes walking the Southwest Coastal Path yesterday. You could be forgiven for thinking these were Icelandic Highlands, but incredibly this is Cornwall.

Discovering a unique and special part of the coast is one thing, but add in conditions like this, and it certainly makes for a good day of shooting.

Myself and left the group ahead and got immersed in this stretch which looked insane. When you keep seeing shots you want and can’t stop shooting, you know you’re having a good time. Happy Sunday all 🤙🏼
