I've always enjoyed product photography. Nice peaceful environment, where you can take your time (to an extent)... I've had access to some old fishermans huts for another job and have been eyeing up one of the windows and some old rope, with the intention of some product photography, with a bottle of rum. We randomly had a new bottle of whiskey at home....whilst it isn't rum, you get the general idea. Bit of a rushed shoot but I'm very content with the end product.

Had to include this tree in a photo. Rumour has it, it was struck by lightning. Either way, it's grown in a fascinating way and made for a great wedding photo.

Don't find myself shooting many weddings these days and it's a nice place to be. I think when you work on lots of weddings, it almost becomes a conveyer belt. You shoot in auto-mode. You become slightly removed from your feelings, whether conscious of this fact or not. Taking on less wedding photography work allows you to put the feeling back into it. It's far less stressful and allows you to be more creative...at least, that's my experience.
This was a lovely wedding at Carwinion House , sat just off the Helford, with stunning ground and a fantastic set up. Every time I visit, they've made improvements to the estate...

Been picking up the camera a fair bit recently. Shooting all manner of subjects...including product, property, portraiture... Here's a portrait shot down on Long Rock Beach. Between being destroyed by flies, avoiding the incoming tide and general carnage, managed to produce this shot and a few more.
