Every day I am seeing businesses choosing to use AI to promote their products and all I can say is that it makes me a little sad 💔

I totally understand why it is being used. Images are made within seconds, if something isn’t quite right it can be corrected instantly and probably the biggest perk to businesses is that it costs nothing!

But if we look at the bigger picture, no creativity is involved, people are loosing jobs because of this and let’s not even talk about the environmental impact of generating just one image 😬

Our social media platforms are being taken over by AI slop, by using AI to create posters, advertisements and product images for your business you’re adding to the noise, loosing your customers attention and in turn loosing their custom!

If it is something that you’re struggling with please, please, please consider hiring someone to help you with content before creating AI images.

BE IN THE PHOTOS 💗

So often I receive messages (especially from mums) saying they just want photos of the children. They don’t want to be in-front of the camera and it breaks my heart 💔
Trust me I get it, not only can it feel a little awkward but also in today’s world where there is such immense pressure to look perfect 24/7 it can feel intimidating but whether it’s taking photos with me or just of your day to day life, I would always encourage you to BE IN THE PHOTOS!
If you book me to take your photos there is no pressure, I prefer a natural approach… I just give a little guidance to ensure we get the shot 📸

They don’t have to go online, they don’t have to be printed and framed but make sure they exist so that in the future, your little ones can see the version of you now that fills them with sooo much love and happiness 🥹💗

I honestly don’t think much of the photos of myself on my own as a child. However, when I look at the pictures with my grandma I can feel her warm hugs, with my mum I can remember the efforts she went to to celebrate all of the small milestones in my life and even the photos with my dad, seeing how the years have changed him as much have they have changed me is such a blessing to have.

Photos can be a special keepsake for you and your family, not always the whole world!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!! The only word I can use to describe this special day for Ivy-Louise 😇

The last photo is possibly my favourite photo of my photography career so far, I would never post a child’s face without consent but I hope you can see why I literally sobbed while editing this beautiful album ✝️🫶🏻

I currently have events booked in until August which is sooo crazy but lovely 😮😭 I do still have availability between my bookings though so if you have an event coming up and are considering a photographer please get in touch asap 💗

One year with our sweet girl 💗

Me and my camera would appreciate it if you keep the maths away from us 🫶🏻
But funnily enough, when working in fashion design I probably ended up using the pi equation way more than those who followed academic careers 😅
