Wintery weather means more time for shooting food and product. I’m best known for my property photography but I started my career working in a London food photography studio and I really enjoy work like this when I get chance. These shots are from a shoot for who wanted product group shots for a hamper brochure. They stock loads of fabulous products, many produced here in Cumbria and the Lake District.

Amazing backdrop and 360 degree views at this Lakeland terrace cottage. Fab interiors too - I loved the design of the glazed boot room, which opened into an enclosed courtyard space.

Take a look inside the door of this fabulous property. Built as a 16th Century Bastille house and extended in the Georgian Era. It’s definitely a house of two halves with Georgian elegance in one wing and fascinating historic features in the other. The lounge is reputed to be a former secret meeting room of the Knights Templar! I loved the fossil fireplace and always lovely to find one of prints in a home.

This incredible place is the epitome of The Good Life and it was such a pleasure to shoot. Brampton Watermill is a real gem with 16 acres, kitchen garden, orchard, stunning Pennine fells views and even a working mill wheel. I loved the wagon and was so surprised to find a working Model T in barn!
