Quite a frustrating start to the new year as my faithful large format printer has ceased to function.

So for the time being I am unable to produce photographic prints so please do not order from my website until I can sort the situation out. Canvas prints are still available as I have an excellent company that produces these for me.

Anyway I had a venture up to Steel Fell near Grasmere yesterday, very cold as expected but not a bad walk.

This is looking towards Thirlmere, Skiddaw, Lonscale Fell and Blencathra...

It's been a while since I last posted, in early August I broke my collar bone so that put me out of action for quite some time!

Weather has been rough recently but there was a gap in the showers yesterday and it was a good opportunity to capture some late autumnal colours.

This panoramic shot was taken in Keswick looking towards Dodd, Skiddaw and Latrigg...

I've always wanted to capture a sunrise from Causey Pike and this morning I finally bagged it!

I had to really push myself this morning to get to the summit for 4.45am - it's about a 6.5 mile trek from Keswick but I think the effort paid off.

So this is the early morning view from Causey Pike looking towards Barrow, Rowlng End, Newlands Valley, Catbells, Derwentwater, Keswick, Latrigg, Blencathra and Skiddaw...
