Golden hour always looks effortless.
The reality is usually very different.
Strong wind.
Sharp rocks.
Cold water.
A dress that refused to cooperate.
Yet somehow, these are often the sessions we remember the most.
Beautiful photographs rarely happen by accident.
They are created through planning, patience, teamwork and a willingness to embrace whatever the moment brings.
Looking back almost three years later, this is still one of my favourite seaside editorials.
More than anything, it’s a reminder that creating images like these is always a collaboration.
It takes trust.
Trust to follow an idea before you can fully see the vision.
Trust to step onto the rocks, into the water, and embrace the unexpected.
