A tip if you love Cornwall but hate the common crowds- visit the Lizard Peninsula for more peace and tranquility.

Uncrowded and full of little lesser known gems and traditional fishing harbours such as Mullion, Cadgwith, places that literally look like you're abroad like Kynance Cove, and THE BEST local crab sandwiches!

From record breaking heatwaves to a predicted VERY stormy autumn and cold winter- forecasters are all talking about El Niño.

Yes, you could head to Cornwall's Folk Festival this weekend in Wadebridge...
.but why would you when you can attend this 'random act of art', dragging a fake poo along to stand up to South West Water, Cornwall Council and Treveth?

The organisers explained: "The protest is over what can be built on the site above St Antony's Garden where Treveth, a company 99 per cent owned by Cornwall Council, have spent £3.6 million on making the garden step free. The second phase of the proposed development promised 11 affordable homes alongside market value ones, but then went back on that promise … though retaining the premium penthouses."

If you love Cornwall, then you know that where we went today is just a TINY bit magical... 😍

The beautiful historic island with a castle you can walk to or from the mainland at low tide, but have to sail to and from when it's high tide!
